Every vote matters - especially in local elections.

School board trustees play an important role in shaping the direction of our schools. From policies and priorities to how concerns are addressed, these decisions directly impact students, families, and educators across our community.

But too often, these elections are overlooked.

The reality is, local elections can be decided by a very small number of votes. That means your voice carries more weight than you might think. Choosing to participate isn’t just about casting a ballot—it’s about having a say in the future of our schools.

As parents and community members, we all want the same things: safe schools, strong communication, and an environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Voting is one of the most direct ways to help make that happen.

It allows you to choose someone who will listen, respond, and advocate for the needs of students and families. Someone who will be present, accountable, and committed to improving the system—not just maintaining it.

This election is about more than a position—it’s about trust.

Trust that concerns will be heard.
